That - can't keep our hands to ourself kind of love...

One of my greatest joys as a photographer is capturing that one of a kind love between couples that just can't get enough of each other. The space between them melts as they reach for one another even when I place them apart, fingers finding fingers, palm to palm, as though they can't help but be pulled together like magnets.

While this might sound like a romance novel, or something that only happens on wedding days when emotions are high, and it is "expected", I can safely say after doing this for 14 years that it isn't rare, or the "honeymoon phase". They say love is a soul's recognition of it's self in another and I've found this to be true time and time again.

The best relationships, those couples that have paired themselves with someone that ignites their soul, have this spark that can't be faked. Whether they are just engaged, or have been married for forty years, it shines bright. It's the kind of love that brings smiles to other's faces when they see it, or jealous, or makes them miss their own better half.

As a photographer I can instantly see this pull. Scientists say that particles that are split and separated by time and space still react as though they are whole... if one gets the cold the other instantly freezes. I love this idea that something can be so in tune with you, your good day puts a pep in their step, and vice versa.

For those of you lucky enough to have found that person that can't keep their hands off of you, the partner you want to experience everything with, whom you can't wait to tell about your successes, and trust enough to share your failures with, give them a big squeeze the next time you see them. Know in your soul that what you have isn't fake and pat yourself on the back for waiting for the right person that accepts you for you!
