Buddhists say, if you meet somebody and your heart pounds, your hands shake, your knees go weak... that's not the one. When you meet your soulmate, you'll feel calm. No anxiety. No agitation. As Ian, Scott, and I played in some splashes of mountain fall last week I couldn't help but be enveloped in a complete comfort. It radiates off of them, two whole individuals that pair together in such a complimentary way you can't help but feel anything but happiness melt away.
It was pure joy to spend an hour with them and listen to them talk about their wedding. They describe it in such a way that you know they respect protecting each other's individuality as well as the love they have built through allowing each other to grow and savor life.
The way they look at each other, want to be near each other, and love each other so deeply is an inspiration as well as a testament to find somebody that's soul shimmers like your own.
To say I can't wait to shoot their wedding this Friday is an understatement. My only concern now is what I'm going to wear that makes my inner soul shine (as is requested of all guests)... I'm thinking my dinosaur earrings =)
