I was blessed recently on a warm night in Denver, with the lighting just right, and the city alive with energy, that I got to hang out with this cool family. There are many people that ask for nature photos, liking the juxtaposition of humanity mixed with the natural world, flowers and trees the backdrop for their Christmas cards, or mantle portraits, but the Harceks are different. They thrive on the excitement of the passers by positing amongst architecture and landmarks that they love.
While it is always fun to get out in nature, I do love mixing it up a bit and am so grateful that every few years this family chooses me to document their moments.
