In a pocket between two February snows, nestled in the warm ambiance of The Boulderado's vintage lobby, this beautiful Texas couple promised each other a life of love and friendship. With friends and family watching from the balcony wings, they kept their eyes locked on each other through their hilarious and personally crafted ceremony, finally saying their I-dos by sealing the promise with a kiss.
No matter how many times I visit the Boulderado the Art Deco stained glass ceiling and speakeasy style vibe never gets old. It's easy to find nooks to get cozy in, dark corners that seem to come straight from a Raymond Chandler novel, or a scene from the great Gatsby. It oozes class, and hints at a life full of living, just like this beautiful wedding. It's not always easy during winter to convince a bunch of fair weather friends to travel to another state, but when your connection is this strong and your group is this supportive there is no way they are going to let you go through one of the most life changing moments alone. This magical night was made all that more special by the wonderful people who came to share in it. I felt honored to be a part of the joy and love that added to the already warm atmosphere.
